Order before 3pm for same day delivery, or after 3pm for next day delivery!
When placing an order for wedding cakes or hire items we require a £50 booking fee, this non-refundable deposit is to secure the date you require and to cover the necessary costs to create your order. Final payment for wedding cakes is due no later than ONE MONTH before the wedding date. If the final payment is not received a reminder may be sent, if no further payment is made we will consider the order cancelled and the deposit lost.
Any delivery charges will be explained at the time of ordering. Please note that all wedding cakes must be delivered.
All cakes / cupcakes should be placed on a flat surface and stored at room
temperature. They should be kept out of direct sunlight. Freezing or refrigerating our cakes or cupcakes is not recommended. Please note cupcakes should be consumed within 2 days and cakes within 3 days.
CHANGES TO YOUR ORDER
Ben's Bakes aims to meet your requirements and understands that sometimes situations occur which can result in you wanting to change your order. Please contact us as early as possible to ensure any changes can be actioned, generally 4 weeks notice is required for any changes.
Cancellation by the customer: If the order is cancelled, your £50 deposit is non-refundable, payment is required for any and all expenses already incurred on behalf of the finished product. If you cancel within 7 days of your event full payment will be invoiced. Please note if you cancel within 6 months of your event and have paid in full, you will only receive a refund for 33% of your order.
DELIVERY & SET UP
Delivery to and set up at venues within Torbay is included in your order and the delivery address will be stated on your order. All other delivery charges can be provided on request. We will liaise with your venue or event coordinator to arrange delivery and we aim to deliver at the best possible time. Delivery times are however subject to availability. It is the Customer's responsibility to ensure that Ben's Bakes has been given the correct delivery information.
It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that you've provided us with the set-up details and arrangements made with the venue for the location and display of your cake. Please ensure that the cake location is level, stable and strong enough to hold your cake (which can be surprisingly heavy!).
We strive to leave everything looking perfect and photographs of final set-up will always be taken.
